How stable are your blood sugars? The stability of our blood sugar has a wide range of effects such as: moods – mental clarity – energy – allergic sensitivities – metabolism – weight – diabetes – heart health and more.
Diabetes is a chronic disorder of carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism characterised by fasting elevations of blood sugar (glucose) levels. Diabetes can occur when the pancreas does not secrete enough insulin or if the cells of the body become resistant to insulin. Then the blood sugar cannot get into the cells. The classic symptoms of Diabetes is frequent urination, excessive thirst and excessive appetite.
Glucose is one of the primary sources of fuel and energy for the body. Most of us are all to aware with the feeling we get when we skip a meal and our blood sugar falls to low. At times like this our energy usually drops as well. Some people are prone to anger, irritability or depression.
Maintaining stable blood sugar (glucose) involves several steps and include
- Eating the right foods
- Finding food options you really enjoy and that are good for you
- Having a regular eating schedule with the idea to provide the body with a consistent supply of nutrients
- Glycemic Index in relation to what you are eating
- Mental Well-being
In this workshop, Debbie will show you how to improve and maintain healthy blood sugars naturally. This workshop is for anyone who has Diabetes, who may know someone or supporting someone that has Diabetes, you could be pre-diabetic or interested in learning how to reduce your risk of becoming Diabetic. Debbie delivers a powerful whole food nutrition and well-being workshop.

Debbie shares her experiences and training on the healing power of foods and shares other options that are available to allow informed decisions when choosing your healing journey.
